Erica Gorenberg was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab from September 2020 to July 2022. She received her B.S. in Biology from Ursinus College in 2015, and her Ph.D. from Yale University’s Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program in 2020. Her Ph.D. work focused on identifying the substrates of palmitoyl protein theioesterase 1 at the synapse and its role in the neurodegenerative disease Neuronal Lipofuscinosis. Erica was also a PennPORT fellow. Erica went on to be a visiting assistant professor at Ursinus College.
